Job Overview

Wargaming is looking engineer to join the IT infrastructure team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of hardware and software infrastructure, internal core services, as well as virtualization and containerization platforms. Your responsibilities will extend to effective collaboration with both internal teams and external vendors.

Please note that this role may involve occasional international travel.

What will you do?

Internal virtualization and containerization platforms operations:

  • Server and storage hardware planning, installation, and operation. Tasks include component deployment and operations with automation tools and GitOps.
  • Assist with hardware procurement based on customers’ requirements, guiding with cost-effective solutions.
  • Be responsible for the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the infrastructure at all stages of the service life cycle.
  • Contribute to internal team services, improve automation processes, and services observability.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in Dell and HPE servers and storage systems, deployment, and operations.
  • Work experience with VMware vSphere virtualization platform.
  • Basic experience with Veeam Backup systems.
  • Professional work experience with Linux and Windows systems, and system administration-related tasks.
  • Experience in troubleshooting applications at the system and network levels.
  • Understanding how modern systems and network protocols work.
  • Basic understanding of principles and experience with containerization tools (for example Docker, etc).
  • Basic understanding of the principles and experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD methodologies and experience with tools (for example, GitLab, Argocd, or others).
  • Basic experience with automation tools and scripting, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or others.
  • Basic experience with various monitoring systems (for example, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or others).
  • English level is from Pre-Intermediate.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Expertise in building large-scale, high-volume, secure, efficient, and resilient environments.
  • Experience using Bash and Python for routine operations and automation.
  • Experience in making decisions with minimal supervision.

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
