Dane Street is expanding our physician panel and seeks a Board Certified Internal Medicine/Pain Management Physician Advisor to join our team. This telework position offers supplemental income with a flexible caseload that can be tailored to fit your schedule. Our physician panel consists of independent contract reviewers (1099), compensated on a per-case basis, allowing you to leverage your expertise while maintaining a work-life balance.
The ideal candidate must hold active medical licensure in California and be Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pain Management.
Current, unrestricted California Medical License
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pain Management
Experience in processes related to Independent Medical Exams (IME) and review
Strong skills in medical documentation and writing, especially in the context of evidence-based guidelines
Ability to evaluate medical necessity with clear and concise reporting
Independent consultant role allows for schedule flexibility and predictable work hours. You choose services and case types, dictate volume, and conduct this work based on your scheduled availability

Typical TAT is 7 business days depending on the level of review. Dane Street keeps you apprised of required turn-around time and carefully coordinates all administrative tasks so your time is spent on clinical decision-making
Dane Street offers a streamlined case flow and a user-friendly work portal. We facilitate all communication, organize and sort all medical records, support all administrative processes, prep cases extensively, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of all determinations/reports
