Responsibilities
Work with Producer and Art Director to ensure timely completion of game environment assets
Maintain production appearance, including quality and art style
Be responsible for coordinating and facilitating day-to-day art production processes for the project
Create briefs and documents for asset creation and training
Participate in defining tools and art production pipeline; understand advantages and limitations of technology and develop strategies for maximizing performance
Prepare content submission packages to be sent to clients, and ensure all content is actual, organized, quality-checked and ready to be submitted to client review in-time
Participate in the establishment of short and long-term artistic goals
Be responsible for identifying and recommending areas of artistic growth of each artist of their team
Be fully aware of the client’s expectations for upcoming content drops, or rejected assets
Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and Art Director regarding status of current project milestones
Interact with (Lead) Artist or Manager on client/partner side
Investigate client technology and train team artists in using it
Assist monitoring team wellbeing and identifying potential risks
Work with Technical artists on constant optimization of the graphical content
Take an active part in team art discussions, critiques and reviews
At least 1 published game as an Environment\Level Artist on PC or console platform
6+ years of experience as a professional game development Environment\3D Artist
Experience in leading a team of artists
Proficient awareness of the software packages and tools of the games industry
Solid experience of using Unreal
Being an expert in at least three areas of artistic production
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven and team-oriented environment
Open minded
Self-motivation, great communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
English from B2
Solid experience in modeling, sculpting and texturing environment components using 3ds Max, Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop (or equivalent packages) shown in portfolio
