Job description
Intetics Inc., a global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and «all-things-digital» solutions, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented LiDAR Data Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working with CAD files and an interest in geospatial technologies. Experience with LiDAR, MicroStation, or TerraScan is a plus — but not mandatory. We will provide training and mentoring to help you grow in this role.
What You’ll Do
Process LiDAR point clouds using TerraScan and MicroStation
Perform 2D and 3D feature extraction and vectorization
Interpret spatial and geospatial data with a focus on accuracy
Conduct quality control checks and implement corrections
Follow documentation and workflows provided in English
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and project standards
Experience working with CAD files (required)
Basic understanding of GIS and coordinate systems
Ability to read and understand English-language instructions and documentation
Familiarity with or interest in LiDAR technology and point cloud data
Bonus: experience with MicroStation and TerraScan (even at basic level)
Bonus: degree or courses in GIS, geodesy, cartography, or related fields
