Summary
Cyberhaven is seeking an experienced endpoint systems developer to contribute to their team and help drive the evolution of their product. The successful candidate will design and implement components of Cyberhaven's state-of-the-art system sensor, optimize performance, build reliable and secure code, and collaborate with a distributed cross-functional team. Requirements include experience with Swift on macOS, building system extensions using Endpoint security framework and Network extensions, prior work on large native applications, debugging and optimizing low-level system software, and experience in endpoint security products. Requirements
- Strong track record in working with Swift on macOS
- Experience of building system extensions using Endpoint security framework and Network extensions
- Prior work on at least one large native application deployed to tens of thousands of end-users
- Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing the performance of low-level system software using Instruments
- Experience building endpoint security products, such as DLP or EDR applications
- Proficient in designing and implementing application architecture
- Experience with agile development and SCRUM
- Proven ability to collaborate with a distributed cross-functional team
- Possess verbal and written communication skills in English
- Availability to frequently communicate with a distributed engineering team in Central European and US Eastern time zones
Responsibilities
- Design and implement components of our state-of-the-art system sensor that traces all data movement across all applications and files on macOS endpoints
- Solve challenging performance optimization problems: we’re building software that monitors hundreds of thousands of events with minimal impact on performance of the endpoint applications
- Design and build highly reliable code that never impacts the end-user experience
- Build secure-by-design hardened software that must withstand real-world attacks, while processing untrusted data and communicating with a backend over the internet
