About the role
Responsible for designing and implementing core back-end services of our industrial-scale software-as-a-service observability platform, and help shape the direction of our platform service architecture.
You Will
Conceptualize engineering requirements and coordinate and manage enhancement and customization application project activities;
Review and interpret user metrics to identify and develop new product functionalities and application enhancements to ensure user needs are met;
Build, deploy, and enhance our M3 platform for enterprise users;
Manage and oversee software and system maintenance and testing;
Consult with users to assess technology needs and system requirements;
Review and manage the work of software engineers, systems analysts, and other computer-related workers;
Identify and respond to technical trends and competition in the metrics and monitoring spaces; and
Contribute to the direction of the product, and help evolve the overall platform architecture to meet product and scale needs.
You have
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
5 years of experience building highly distributed and scalable systems and sophisticated applications using a cloud computing service such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GoogleCloud Platform.
5 years of experience developing applications using object-oriented languages including Python, Java or Go to increase infrastructure reliability of services.
5 years of experience utilizing Kubernetes, Docker or Terraform to scale cloud infrastructure and package software services for deployment to multiple cloud platforms.
5 years of experience implementing processes for services in continuous integration and continuous deployment.
5 years of experience with infrastructure as code to provision infrastructure within cloud platforms that meet business objectives.
May telecommute.

$275,000 per year.
