JustWatch – the world’s leading streaming guide – is looking for skilled freelance copywriters to help us craft high-quality movie and TV show synopses for our title pages. This is a temporary freelance role with a duration of approximately three months, with potential for future collaboration.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Write concise, engaging, and informative synopses for movies and TV shows listed on JustWatch.com.
- Conduct research using trusted sources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Adapt your tone and style to match JustWatch’s editorial guidelines.
- Deliver clean, native-level written content in Australian English, while communicating professionally in English with our global team.
- Work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in copywriting, journalism, content creation, or similar.
- Native-level fluency in Australian English or more target languages (please specify in your application).
- Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- A solid understanding of the film and television industry – including genres, trends, and audience expectations.
- Excellent research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into short-form, meaningful summaries.
- Availability to contribute consistently for the full 3-month period, starting as soon as possible.
