Occupational Therapy (VR Telehealth)

XRHealth is seeking a highly motivated registered Occupational Therapist to join our expanding allied health team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience and an interest in digital health, virtual reality therapy, private practice, and a passion for ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing initial assessment sessions according to standards of practice and assess whether the patient is appropriate for the program
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions both individually and group focused
- Documenting patient progress according to standards
- Write and send comprehensive assessment, progress, and treatment summary reports to referring bodies or stakeholders as required
Requirements of the role:
- Tertiary qualification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working across the age range (from 10 years old through to older adults)
- Full registration with AHPRA
- An appropriate home office setup, including a high-speed internet connection and a computer/laptop for use in Telehealth
- Excellent communication skills
- An interest in the role of emerging technology in Occupational Therapy practice
- Be located in Australia with full working rights
- Have an understanding of the NDIS
