Willow is looking for an individual that is passionate about infrastructure technology and possesses a level of domain expertise in building systems, Fault Detection & Diagnostics, familiarity with data analytics, and desire to transform the built environment.
As a Deployment & Activation Coordinator in the live data team Engineer your primary role will be to deploy the Willow platform for customers so they can understand how best to operate and optimize their building systems. You will utilise your understanding across Fault Detection and Diagnostic applying it to mapping and tagging of assets.
Responsibilities
- Work with Delivery Project Managers and Engineers across all stages of the project including -Pre-Integrations and Discovery, IoT Integrations and Data Acquisition, and Data Tagging (Classification and 3D Geometry Modelling)
- As a Subject Matter Expert, you will support product, software development, customer support, and customer success teams in activities such as knowledge sharing and training sessions, product testing and validation, troubleshooting, etc.
- Review project documentation and produce required documents such as network topologies or similar diagrams.
- Perform data tagging and Skill activation across multiple sites and run quality assurance reviews to make sure data collected from the different subsystems is accurate.
- Review data in our platform through a front end, database, or API and compare it against other applications.
- Main responsibility is to ensure all data collected and sent through to the Willow platform is of the highest quality and accuracy. This responsibility is at the core of Willow Services and the key to our success.
- Use industry knowledge and understanding of building systems in the creation of building digital twins which serve as the platform for Activate Technology analytics
- Partner with other Willow teams to support customer facing discovery sessions and/or workshops to define scope and requirements
What we are looking for:
- 3+ year experience in Building Automation Services or similar
- Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering qualifications are viewed favourably but more important is an eagerness to learn new technology
- Fault Detection & Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills in Building Automation/Energy Management Systems are required
- Understanding of technical documentation like network topology, wiring diagrams, points lists, operational manuals and functional descriptions for multiple systems like BMS, EMS, Security, Lighting, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel or MS SQL preferred.
- Have excellent fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, energetic and highly motivated and are keen to learn and develop your existing skills and knowledge across Fault Detection & Diagnostics technologies.
