Job Description

You will lead a cross‑functional Agile team within MUFG Investor Services to design, build, and operate enterprise‑grade solutions on Microsoft Power Platform. You will set the technical direction, own end‑to‑end solution design, and ensure robust delivery practices (DevOps/ALM, governance, security) across multiple business domains in a regulated financial services environment.

Reporting to the Executive Director, IT, Head of Business Support and IT Delivery, you will:

  • Line‑manage, coach, and develop a squad of Power Platform Engineers, functional consultants, and analysts.
  • Run Agile ceremonies (planning, reviews, retros, daily stand‑ups), drive backlog health, and uphold Definition of Ready/Done.
  • Partner with Product Owners to shape roadmaps, prioritise value, and communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Own end‑to‑end architecture and solution design for complex Power Platform initiatives, including non‑functional requirements.
  • Define environment strategy, solution layering, and model for re‑use.
  • Integrate with Azure services and external SaaS/line‑of‑business systems via custom connectors/APIs.
  • Lead hands‑on development where needed.
  • Establish code standards, peer reviews, branching strategy, and automated testing.
  • Champion telemetry and observability and performance tuning.
  • Design for SOC 1 / SOC 2 readiness: control mapping, evidence capture, logging/monitoring, and audit trails across environments; coordinate with Internal Audit/External Auditors during reviews.
  • Define standards for environment provisioning, service accounts, connection references, and secrets handling (Key Vault) with strict PII/financial‑data controls.
  • Operate the Power Platform CoE (starter kit extensions), manage solution catalogues, and ensure change control via CAB integrated with ITSM processes and appropriate approvals.
  • Implement robust ALM with Power Platform Pipelines/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
  • Integrate with ITSM toolsets for incident, problem, and change; enforce CAB approvals, maintenance windows, and rollback plans.
  • Oversee SLAs, operational runbooks, on‑call procedures, and release readiness; drive continuous improvement via post‑incident reviews.
