Job description
StackAdapt is the leading technology company that empowers marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. With 465 billion automated optimizations per second, the AI-powered StackAdapt Marketing Platform seamlessly connects brand and performance marketing to drive measurable results across the entire customer journey. The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.
We’re hiring a senior individual contributor to lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and evolution of our lifecycle marketing program — from account creation to onboarding, activation, and retention. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product usage, GTM alignment, and data-driven communication. You’ll architect lifecycle journeys that accelerate time-to-value and deepen user engagement across email and supporting channels.
As a lead, you are expected to think and operate at a systems level: designing scalable frameworks, defining KPIs, and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver a unified customer experience. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between Growth, Product, Sales, CS, and Ops to ensure our lifecycle engine drives measurable business impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lifecycle Strategy & Execution:
- Own the full lifecycle strategy for PLG users: from signup through onboarding, adoption, and retention.
- Design and implement journey frameworks, message architectures, and channel strategies across email, in-app, push, and chat — aligned to user intent and behavior.
- Define and prioritize activation and engagement milestones based on quantitative and qualitative inputs (e.g., usage analytics, feedback loops with CS/Sales).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the lifecycle lead across GTM functions — partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to define shared lifecycle goals, reduce onboarding friction, and surface education opportunities.
- Align with Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, BizOps, and Data Architecture teams to build scalable automation, targeting infrastructure, and reporting systems.
- Data, Measurement & Optimization:
- Develop KPI frameworks and lifecycle dashboards in collaboration with RevOps and MOps — including activation rates, onboarding velocity, retention, and expansion triggers.
- Lead rigorous A/B testing and multivariate experimentation across lifecycle programs. Translate findings into concrete messaging and sequencing improvements.
- Build cohort-level journey tracking and use insights to evolve personalization logic, suppression rules, and campaign logic.
- Thought Leadership & Enablement:
- Act as a subject matter expert on lifecycle best practices and emerging PLG trends — providing strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and helping guide lifecycle strategy for adjacent teams (e.g., Growth PMs, CS Enablement).
- Create documentation, playbooks, and architecture diagrams to ensure long-term sustainability of programs.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 8+ years in Lifecycle, Product, or Growth Marketing, with at least 2+ years in a PLG or hybrid self-serve/Sales-led environment.
- Experience designing and scaling email-driven lifecycle programs that integrate with product behavior and CRM logic.
- High proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Marketo), product analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel), and customer data orchestration (e.g., Segment, Hightouch).
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills — able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders in parallel.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, define KPIs, and align teams across Marketing, Sales, CS, and Product.
- Strategic thinker with deep executional capability: able to operate at the architectural level and also build flows, QA assets, and troubleshoot dependencies.
- Comfortable building consensus with multiple stakeholders and presenting roadmap progress to leadership.
