Job description
Reporting to the Head of Tech Services the Product Manager is responsible for ITSM tooling/products used by Euromonitor colleagues in adding value and meeting business objectives. The primary product focus is the HALO ITSM platform that is owned by Service Desk and operated across a broad range of resolver groups internally. This role will work closely with Tech Services Leadership notably, the Global Service Desk Manager, Service Desk Leads and Service Delivery Manager. By its nature remit extends to collaborating with multiple stakeholders on business requirements in the delivery of out-of-the-box functionality as well custom solutions as required. Alongside setting the strategy for our ITSM Product portfolio the Product manager is expected to be hands on fulfilling administration and configuration duties where possible leading and/or managing work out via the Service Desk team/Vendor in meeting delivery deadlines and operational stability of our ITSM products/platforms.
Core Responsibilities :
• Define the scope and vision for HALO, own the HALO product roadmap and any associated business cases.
• Communicate improvements to the business ensuring our ITSM platforms meet user needs - accountability for delivering value to the customer over time
• Successful adoption of the HALO platform across the enterprise
• Product Management lifecycle with a focus on growth and maturity including upgrades and new module adoption, automation and integration opportunities.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in delivering projects through Agile methodologies
• Lead, participate manage necessary agile project ceremonies and artifacts required in the successful delivery of HALO improvements and operational stability of the product.
• Managing the product backlog and prioritising work items based on changing requirements
• HALO vendor relationship extending to contract and service reviews
• Sets, monitors, and reviews costs to budget pertaining to HALO (ranging from License/platform to potential consultancy costs)
• Administration of the platform; Production, Dev/Sandbox and any staging areas
• Maximise value by identifying additional business outcomes the platform can enable
• Collaborating with users and stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Identify other ITSM products that would benefit from Product Management and build a portfolio.
Product Management and Product Leadership
• Champion owned product(s) and prioritise a product-centric strategy
• Shield the team from unnecessary interruptions or requests that alter direction
• Engage and mediate with stakeholders in requirements and outcomes
• Collaborate with team to explore and confirm what adds value currently and what might add value in the future
• Develop a prioritised roadmap and use it to communicate your product strategy with stakeholders
• Manage uncertainty while controlling scope, ensuring critical deadlines are met and value is delivered
• Suggest various product management techniques
• Work transparently and share progress
Project Management
• Leverage your experience in project management methodologies, including the use of relevant tools and techniques
• Identify and define the methodologies most suitable for the area
• Oversee projects in conjunction with the Service Desk Team and necessary resolver groups
Agile and Lean practices
• Experience applying agile principles in practice - evaluate and choose the most suitable delivery methods and processes
• Make work visible for the team using measurements to deliver and report on results
