We were founded in 2014 as a genomic intelligence company in the Biotechnology Research industry. Our work simplifies complex genetic data into clear information for patient diagnosis and developing precision medicine, helping to find genetic causes of disease and cancer. We offer software, data, and services, combining AI with genomic expertise.

Our software includes the Mastermind Genomic Intelligence Platform and the Cancer Knowledgebase (CKB). Mastermind integrates and analyzes genomic data, helping researchers and clinicians understand genetic variants. It draws from genomic literature on over 27 million variants and 10 million full-text articles, plus curated germline variant content. The CKB focuses on somatic mutations, offering curated information for oncology research and personalized cancer treatment. It has data on more than 2,100 genes, 15,000 trials, and 48,000 cancer variants, linking them to therapies and clinical trials.

Our services include tailored consulting, custom variant analysis, clinical trial support, and regulatory guidance. For data, we provide access to a large, updated database of curated genomic information, including gene-disease associations and variant data. This information is delivered via API or flat files for integration into other analytic platforms. Our offerings help clinical diagnostics by speeding up variant interpretation and improving diagnostic yield. They also aid precision therapeutics by informing drug programs, providing real-world evidence for drug development, optimizing trials, and getting therapies to patients. We are headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Our mission is to save and improve lives by making genomic information useful. We started to meet the need for faster, more thorough variant interpretation by combining expert curation with machine-learning methods.
