Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software implementation and project management, specifically within the hospitality industry. As the owner of the new partner deployment process, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of our best-in-class products. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills to manage projects, mitigate risks, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of partner launches and other key initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of new and existing partner initiatives using a blend of project management best practices, processes, and tools.
  • Define project scopes and objectives, involving stakeholders to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project timelines and milestones, tracking progress and adjusting plans as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery Product Specialists, Platform Specialists, and internal stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to deliver high-value products to partners.
  • Demonstrate expertise in various project management areas, including governance, scope, requirements gathering, risk management, quality assurance, issue management, timeline management, and communication.
  • Regularly provide project status updates to both external and internal stakeholders and management, including producing project management-related business analysis such as status reports, issue and risk logs, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
  • Make informed decisions regarding project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure project success.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards and adhere to established best practices and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of software implementation project management experience, preferably in the software or e-commerce industry.
  • 3+ years of client-facing experience in a technical environment, with the ability to translate technical language into business terms.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to execute effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-project environment with multiple clients.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, meeting facilitation, and both verbal and written communication.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the airline and travel industries.
  • Familiarity with airline software systems, such as Amadeus, Sabre, or SITA.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation.
  • Knowledge of productivity tools including Salesforce, JIRA, and Splunk.

Role-specific Requirements:

  • Ability to lead the successful deployment of new partner initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competence in managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Experience coordinating with both technical and non-technical teams to achieve project objectives.
