Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, systematic, and creative individual who thrives on leading and driving complex, innovative digital transformation projects. The focus will be on utilizing Augmented Reality for manufacturing and other industrial use cases.
The primary objective is to ensure the successful delivery of projects across the different stages of engagement with industrial customers.
Main responsibilities include:
Managing EU-funded projects, ensuring compliance with proposal provisions and timelines;
Analysing and interpreting research data, drawing meaningful conclusions;
Managing the delivery of projects to customers, taking into account the short-term and long-term goals of the business;
Coordinating with team members, ensuring research tasks are on track and within budget;
Facilitate and supervise the delivery of technical milestones, utilizing advanced project management tools;
Reporting on project progress, resource planning and financial analysis of the projects;
Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and industry regulations during research;
Performing risk management across the existing projects;
Managing the impact of emerging opportunities and their impact on the existing projects;
Proactively discuss project progress and needs with management;
Finding practical and workable solutions to deliver results;
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
+5-years professional experience in project management;
Masters Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, or evidence of equivalent research and analysis experience;
Experience with the management of EU funded (research) projects;
Experience in developing research proposals and securing funding;
Experience in effectively combining agile methodologies with traditional project management in product-based startup environments;
Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making;
Strong organisational and planning skills, that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines;
Ability to anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles;
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a range of audiences, stakeholders and partners;
Proven skills in writing for and speaking to a range of audiences (Portuguese and English);
Professional project management certification from accredited institution (preffered).
