Project Manager

Summary

TestPros is seeking a Project Manager with Section 508 experience for a Federal contract. The position is full-time and can be remote or in the DMV area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and five years of experience with Section 508 compliance, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will apply their broad management skills and specialized functional and technical expertise to guide project teams in delivering client solutions or to manage the day-to-day operations
• This functional service will assist Federal Agency with managing complex Section 508 related projects
• The project management team will apply the necessary skills, tools and proven best practices to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• The lead/team lead, or project manager will manage the performance of contractors. This includes scheduling, daily oversight of efforts, and adherence to the expectations established in the Statement of Work or other requirement documents
• The team will provide remediation services for WORD, PDF, and Excel records, that may or may not contain redactions and may or may not be images
• The team will conduct section 508 requirements for PDF and Excel documents
• The contractor shall remediate documents containing redactions
• The contractor shall remediate documents that are images
• The contractor shall remediate documents that are unable to apply Optical Character Recognition software
• The contractor shall not solely rely on automation to assist with making documents 508 compliant
• The contractor shall make and ensure all documents are compliant with agency's standards
• The team will remediate documents to ensure 508 compliance
• The team will document that the documents fully passes the HHS and FDA checklists
• The team will notify the PM when a document requires the insertion of Alt text
• The team will perform final document remediation within ten (10) business days after the PM has reviewed and returned the work product to the contractor for final remediation

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• DDA experience
