We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Project Manager with deep experience in client/agency relationships. This person will play a critical role in driving momentum, clarity, and communication across complex workstreams with multiple stakeholder groups.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects in environments where not everything is known upfront—mapping out plans, surfacing dependencies, and creating structure that allows teams to move forward with confidence. You must be comfortable navigating nuanced organizational dynamics, communicating effectively across seniority levels, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
This role is equal parts relationship manager, process driver, and strategic listener.
Start Date: September
Scope: 40/hrs week for the next 6-8 months
Flat Weekly Rate: $2,600/week
Location: Remote, must be able to work EST/Central hours
Key Responsibilities:
Create project structures and workflows in ambiguous or evolving environments
Drive project momentum by tracking progress, surfacing blockers, and helping teams navigate dependencies
Maintain detailed project tracking and ensure consistent visibility for all stakeholder groups
Facilitate clear, consistent communication across client, agency, and internal teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, understanding how to work within large, nuanced organizations
Serve as a thought partner to strategists and marketers—ensuring timelines, deliverables, and expectations are aligned
Proactively listen and identify areas where additional clarity or alignment is needed
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in project or account management within a marketing, agency, or cross-functional creative team environment
- Strong understanding of how agencies and clients interact—including roles, expectations, and points of friction
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects in ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environments
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen ability to track, document, and surface key details and milestones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read the room, tailor communication styles, and navigate nuance with ease
- Proven success working with multiple stakeholder groups and senior leadership to keep projects aligned and moving forward
- Comfortable building plans from scratch, problem-solving in real time, and staying calm under pressure
