Take over a key role as a React Native Engineer inthe Engineering department, and be a part of this exciting adventure of never-ending growth and success.
What we expect from you
We are looking for a superstar React Native Engineer to help us shape the future of home services. You will be working with a team of fellow engineers designing and developing mobile applications for both the consumer and our internal operations. You will work on our mobile platforms, implementing features across the entire stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain new features while managing the existing codebase
- Deliver high-quality code within set deadlines, ensuring clean, maintainable solutions
- Expand and maintain comprehensive unit tests and increase code coverage
- Optimize app performance to create smooth, responsive mobile experiences
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in mobile app development
- Willingness to participate in our on-call rota
What we are looking for
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native development (Bonus: Experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Java, Android SDK, and iOS SDK)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Redux, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using Git for source control
- Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g. Detox or Maestro)
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and best coding practices
- A proactive, self-driven approach, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
