Job description

Are you ready to transform data into impactful insights? As YouGov’s Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional data visualization and reporting across our diverse research projects. We’re seeking a talented professional with a keen eye for design and a strong track record of turning complex data into clear, compelling reports.

Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely or choose a hybrid arrangement that suits you. Whether you prefer working from home or splitting your time between our offices and your home, we support your work-life balance.

Regrettably, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship, so you must be eligible to work in the US on a permanent basis.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Interpret data and create visually appealing, easy-to-understand reports for clients using Google Slides and MS PowerPoint

  • Work on a project-by-project basis to provide design support for the SRG Research team and other YouGov teams

  • Transform data into graphical representations, including charts, graphs, tables, and infographics, maintaining graphical consistency across reports

  • Follow SRG reporting standards and guidelines to build research reports and proposals for key accounts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, academic, health, and public affairs researchers, to implement cutting-edge research

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

These are the essential you will need to get an interview:

  • Able to present data effectively using charts, graphs, tables, etc.

  • Have a basic understanding of graphic design principles and best practices

  • Be proficient in working with G-Suite, specifically Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Docs; MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel

  • Think creatively about how to show concepts (data, ideas, connections, etc.) in readable and varied ways

Behavioural competencies

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data and visuals clearly to different audiences

  • A collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with teams across departments

  • Adaptability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Creativity and an eye for design to enhance the visual appeal of data and reports

  • Discretion and confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive client information

For roles based in New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000.00 - $70,000.00 . Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits. All US based full time employees are eligible for the following benefits:

  • Paid vacation, holidays and sick days

  • Flexible working arrangements available

  • Group medical, dental and vision insurance

  • Company-paid life and disability insurance

  • Paid parental leave

  • 401(k) with company match
