Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic SAP FICO Consultant to join our growing team. This is a permanent remote position, ideal for a self-driven professional passionate about finance transformation through SAP. The selected candidate will play a critical role in delivering functional and technical support, driving process improvements, and enhancing the overall SAP FICO experience for our business users.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily end-user support and issue resolution across SAP FICO modules.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve SAP-related functional and technical issues.
Perform configuration, customization, and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
Collaborate with finance and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Support integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR.
Train end-users, create support documentation, and maintain accurate process materials.
Ensure compliance with financial processes, corporate policies, and statutory standards.
Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and propose permanent solutions.
Support month-end/year-end closing activities and assist during audits.
Act as a key liaison between finance, business, and IT functions for cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
5–8 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration and support.
Strong functional expertise in:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Asset Accounting (AA)
Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
Proven experience in SAP business process analysis, user support, and documentation.
Good understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to guide business teams on best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SAP FICO certification is a plus.
