Work Schedule : 24 x 7 (Rotational Shift)

Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SAP Technology Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and administration of SAP systems, including troubleshooting, ABAP dump analysis, printer and client administration, SAP security, and database management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning and security of SAP applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of SAP technology, strong administration skills, and a proactive approach to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in SAP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • ABAP Dump Analysis: Investigate and resolve ABAP dumps to maintain system stability and performance.
  • Printer Administration: Manage and configure printers in SAP systems, ensuring proper print functionality across different modules.
  • Client Administration: Administer SAP client setups and manage client-related configurations and user access.
  • SAP Security: Assist in basic SAP security tasks, including user and role management, authorization concept configuration, and user access monitoring.
  • Database Administration: Manage and maintain databases such as Oracle, HANA, and others, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • SAP Note Administration: Apply relevant SAP Notes to ensure system updates and patches are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Background Jobs Administration: Monitor and administer SAP background jobs to ensure they run as scheduled and without errors.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of SAP BASIS administration experience.

  • Education: A bachelorโ€™s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent.

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Solid understanding of SAP software configuration and maintenance.
    • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
    • Knowledge of database management and administration tools for databases such as SQL, MaxDB, DB2, Oracle, HANA, and Sybase ASE.
    • Basic understanding of SAP Security.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Certifications: Any SAP certification in NetWeaver (NW) administration is preferred.

  • Motivation & Learning: Highly motivated, quick learner, and eager to improve and stay updated with emerging SAP technologies.
