Summary
The job is for a 6-month remote position as a Security CIAM Okta Universal Directory Engineer to design, develop, and deploy CIAM solutions in complex and diverse environments. The role requires experience with Okta Universal Directory, Okta API, Okta Org2Org, Microsoft Graph API, and the ability to configure, test, and troubleshoot synchronization across different directories.

- Hands on experience with Okta Universal Directory associated APIs and interfaces
- Comfortable working with Postman; ability to configure and secure API’s
- Ability to document and justify configurations and deploy them through SDLC tiers in an automated fashion
- Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar
- Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as liaison between business and information security / information technology
- Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English

Responsibilities
- Advance client’s target state CIAM platforms / services with key capabilities around Authentication/SSO and Authorization / Directory Services
- Develop modifications and wrappers to the Okta authentication API(s) to progress the client’s objective for creating an external primary identity store enterprise service for external applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure AD
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc
