About the team & opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Growth Sales, reporting into our Managing Director, Global Growth Sales, to join our rapidly growing company.
This role will be focused on identifying expansion opportunities within our existing customer base for our industry-leading legal solutions. Using the MEDDICC sales framework, the Senior Account Executive will create sales opportunities, collaborate with our Customer Success teams, pitch current clients, and close new product business.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who is adept at building and nurturing strong relationships with existing clients, is always on the hunt to expand business, and is ready to adapt to new strategies and initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Product: Quickly become familiar with Ontra’s range of products and services
- Pipeline Management: Effectively generate, own, and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through closing
- Expansion: Drive revenue growth through business development, lead qualification, pitching, and closing new opportunities within existing accounts
- Strategy: Adapt comfortably to new strategic initiatives, working with the team to validate and/or invalidate new product hypotheses
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues on the growth sales team, customer success managers, solutions engineers, and management to consistently produce against goal
What you’ll bring
- Required Experience: 4+ years of sales experience, with a consistent track record as a top-performing AE, OR 3+ years of corporate legal experience
- Preferred Experience: experience selling to legal or financial services user personas. Familiarity with the private funds or legal tech sectors and experience selling AI solutions are also highly desirable.
- Tech stack: High level ofproficiency with GSuite, Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Ambition: Entrepreneurial, hunter mindset; dedicated to proactive prospecting and multi-threading; thrives while networking and cultivating relationships; actively seeks and implements feedback; naturally resilient
- Intellectually curious: Can learn new concepts quickly and communicate those concepts intelligently and efficiently
- Strong, persuasive communicator: Impeccable verbal and written communication skills; your high EQ allows you to easily command an audience
- Team player: Comfortable with autonomy but enjoys collaborating with a team; is coachable and receptive to feedback
- Efficiency: Excellent organizational skills including prioritization and time management
