Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with test automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and a deep understanding of software testing best practices. You should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
Identify and prioritise test cases for automation.
Develop and execute automated test plans and cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
At least 5 years of experience in automated software testing.
Strong knowledge of modern automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Pytest.
Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
Strong understanding of software testing best practices and methodologies.
Good knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar.
Experience with API testing, including tools and techniques for validating RESTful APIs.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Good written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English.
