Protective Life uses SAP S/4HANA v2023 and several other SAP products. As we continue to build out the SAP solutions to support the business, we are looking to fill the role of SAP Senior FICO/FSCD Associate with the title of Sr Analyst Systems Rptg within the SAP Projects team, to assist in the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Financial products within S/4 HANA. The SAP team operates in a cross-functional team approach.

SAP Functional Expertise
·Analyze complex SAP system issues and recommend effective solutions.
·Perform and review advanced configuration changes in SAP FICO and FSCD.
·Assist in designing, prototyping, and testing enhancements based on user stories.
·Utilize external SAP resources to troubleshoot and explore new capabilities.
·Create and review transports with appropriate testing and documentation.
·Research and implement innovative SAP solutions and best practices.
·Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
·Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to colleagues.
·Collaborate with distributed teams using agile methodologies.
·Support the development of training materials and assist in user training when needed.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and/or information technology and 5- 7 years of SAP experience
- Performing financial activities within at least two finance related sub-modules
- Creating configuration changes within at least one finance-related sub-module
- Relevant finance sub-modules of SAP are FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-BL, FI-AA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, GL/CC allocations, Group Reporting, FS-CD, FP-SL
- Creating and reviewing transports with appropriate testing and documentation support
- Working in a 3-tier landscape (development, quality, production)
- Developing and executing test scripts for SAP finance processes
- Knowledge of finance business processes and linkage to finance and non-finance systems
- Reviewing, interpreting, or creating solution requirements
- Provide guidance in the development of training materials to training coordinator when user training when needed
Preferred Experience:
- SAP S/4 HANA on-premise version 2023 or later
- Configuration experience in 2 or more SAP finance related sub-modules
- Implementing and/or supporting standard SAP Fiori apps
- At least one full-cycle S/4 implementation, S/4 migration, or S/4 upgrade project
- Any one or more of the following SAP products
- SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO)
- SAP Collections & Disbursements (FSCD)
- SAP Group Reporting
- SAP Analysis for Office (AFO)
- SAP Financial Products Sub-Ledger (FPSL)
- Certifications from SAP for either S/4 HANA Financial Accounting, S/4 HANA Management Accounting, S/4 HANA Fiori System Administration, Master Data Governance, Solution Manager, or Business Process Integration with SAP S/4 HANA
- Working in an agile environment utilizing user stories, minimum-viable product, and proto-typing
- Knowledge of processes within the insurance industry
$75,000 - $105,000 a year
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
