Business Systems Administrator – Finance/Accounting Systems
Job Summary
The position liaises with both business and technical teams to assess scope, timeline, and impacts of new requests, fulfills those requests as defined, and provides production support to help maximize the benefit of system investments.
A successful candidate must have experience optimizing business processes, building system requirements, and administering business systems in the following areas: Accounting, Order Fulfillment, Finance, SOX Compliance, Audit, and Financial Reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform functional configuration, build small enhancements, perform system maintenance and coordinate business testing for Finance & Accounting systems. This includes managing custom fields, forms, records, workflows, scripting, reporting, and user roles to support business requirements.
• Provide production support and administer user access in a SOX controlled environment.
• Provide leadership in Finance & Accounting best practices and provide solutions to business leaders.
• Evaluate existing business processes and uncover areas for improvement.
• Use technical expertise to design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality and optimized business solutions.
• Manage organizational business data cleanliness, structure, and remove duplication. Apply best practice data management techniques to streamline organizational data. Perform data maintenance functions including importing data into business systems.
• Create Process Mappings, Data Mappings and Models, Data Flows, and User Stories.
• Ability to facilitate solution review and sign off from various business stakeholders at all seniority levels.
• Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Coursework or practical experience with Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field required
• 3+ years of business systems experience as an administrator and/or analyst (in financial systems, Netsuite expertise required.)
• Some knowledge or previous experience with Salesforce, Blackline, Coupa, Avalara, FloQast, and Anaplan is a plus
• Knowledge of SuiteQL and SuiteScript a plus
• Testing/QA skills and knowledge of testing processes
• Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and present in front of key stakeholders
• Provide support for the configuration and implementation of new functionality and modules.
• Requirements gathering and documentation for system improvement projects.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
• Experience with managing work within Agile frameworks.
• Experience in SDLC within a SOX controlled environment.

Salary range of $96,800 to $142,000 (It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.) The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
