The team
Our Core Compliance Team, focuses on governance, risk, and oversight which is at the heart of the second line of defense. We serve as a strategic partner to the business in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk. Our approach is a proactive, solutions-driven function that thrives on solving complex problems and driving effective risk management outcomes across the enterprise.
We work closely with stakeholders at all levels—across front-line operations, senior leadership, and control functions—to challenge, support, and elevate risk awareness and decision-making. Our focus extends beyond compliance; we deliver insights that help anticipate emerging threats, enhance resilience, and enable sustainable growth.
This is a high-impact role where critical thinking, analytical rigor, and stakeholder engagement are core to everything we do. Team members are empowered to shape governance frameworks, lead thematic reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk culture and operational excellence throughout the organization. They must be able to balance big picture thinking with hands-on execution.
This role will report into the Global Head of Core Compliance.
The role is remote, but must cross-over at least partially with US timezones.
The opportunity
Core obligations are management of the FIU QA program from start to finish. This includes maintaining, updating, and executing the FIU QA program across transaction and blockchain monitoring, investigations, and Suspicious Reporting filings
Conduct QA reviews across compliance functions such various programs within Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), and Sanctions
Assist in developing and refining QA and Compliance testing programs and procedures, including AI workflows
Analyze quality performance data, including customer feedback, to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Document findings and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
Contribute to the preparation and delivery of QA MI reporting and Observation & Recommendation reports
Applying QA scoring methodologies utilizing a risk-focused model to outline scorebands and document findings per workflow-specific scorecards
Document QA feedback based on testing outcomes and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure remediation and enhanced quality
Support continuous improvement efforts and process enhancements based on QA observations
Help promote a culture of compliance and quality assurance across all operational workflows
Produce polished, professional deliverables for internal and external reporting needs
Foster cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
Skills you should HODL
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in a QA, Audit, BSA/AML, or Compliance Testing role (Crypto or regulatory experience is a plus)
Familiarity with QA testing frameworks, risk-based sampling, and audit procedures in compliance environments
Strong analytical mindset; capable of reviewing structured and unstructured data from varied case and transaction systems
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information
Exceptional ownership of deliverables and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail with strong presentation writing and documentation skills
Comfortable with managing multiple projects and priorities with frequent context switching
