The team
The Kyriba Program Manager will lead a high-impact, high-visibility initiative that is central to Kraken’s global treasury strategy. This role is responsible for end-to-end program management of Kyriba’s implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization—driving cross-functional coordination, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and proactively managing risk throughout the program lifecycle.
The opportunity
Own the Kyriba platform and program end-to-end, including planning, execution, integration, control design, change management, optimization, and support.
Wear both Project Manager and Business Analyst hats, translating business needs into executable system and process plans.
Lead cross-functional coordination between Treasury, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Compliance.
Implement and optimize Kyriba modules: Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity Forecasting, Financial Transactions, Bank Account Management, In House Bank, FX Risk, and Hedging.
Manage ERP, bank and other API connectivity, including reconciliation, data validation, and exception monitoring.
Collaborate with banking partners and vendors to evolve the strategic Kyriba roadmap.
Oversee risk management across the Kyriba, including controls, audit readiness, and cybersecurity compliance.
Develop and maintain project plans, stakeholder dashboards, issue logs (e.g., RAID), and escalation processes.
Create and maintain documentation: project charters, process maps, test scripts, training materials, and SOPs.
Provide user training and adoption support; act as internal subject matter expert on Kyriba.
Lead and manage Treasury-related projects, from concept to post-implementation support.
Identify and drive automation and continuous improvement across Treasury and Accounting.
Skills you should HODL
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
7 years + of project or program management experience, ideally within treasury, fintech or financial operations.
2+ years of Kyriba experience, including implementation or administration of multiple modules.
Proven ability to manage both strategic and tactical delivery as a Program Manager and Business Analyst.
Experience managing banking relationships and external partner coordination.
Highly organized with excellent project tracking, stakeholder communication and issue resolutions skills.
Demonstrable knowledge and passion about bitcoin and cryptocurrency with a security first mind set.
Advanced knowledge of the Google suite of products, including Sheets.
Strong work ethic and ability excel in a fast-paced evolving environment.
