About The Role

We are looking for a smart and driven leader to have a direct impact on the future of our business by helping to influence global adoption of our award-winning Picus Security Validation Platform.
As a Senior Cyber Security Strategist, you will lead strategic efforts to identify cybersecurity challenges and transform them into effective product solutions. You’ll oversee critical initiatives, guiding technical decisions from concept through productization, collaborating closely with other Picus teams. Leveraging your expertise in the cybersecurity domain, you’ll drive enhancements in cybersecurity practices and influence strategic decisions across the organization, while mentoring team members to foster growth and innovation.
Picus is headquartered in Ankara, with a regional office in Istanbul, but our team is remote across Türkiye. Please note that all CVs must be submitted in English.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the identification, analysis, and strategic framing of cybersecurity challenges, driving their transformation into robust product solutions aligned with market demands
- Spearhead critical cybersecurity projects, making pivotal technical decisions and ensuring successful delivery from initial concept through validation
- Collaborate proactively with product management, engineering, and research teams to define, validate, and execute strategic initiatives that deliver measurable value to end-users
- Conduct advanced research activities and manage validation processes to ensure proposed solutions effectively address customer needs and provide tangible security enhancements
- Drive continuous improvements in cybersecurity practices across the team and department, aligning closely with organizational objectives and industry standards
- Provide expert guidance, mentorship, and insights to team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership to influence strategic decision-making
- Translate cybersecurity challenges and concepts into clear business cases, demonstrating their strategic value and alignment with organizational goals
What You Have
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex cybersecurity initiatives, delivering impactful and measurable results within dynamic environments
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity architecture, risk management frameworks, threat intelligence methodologies, and extensive hands-on experience implementing cybersecurity solutions
- Strong strategic planning and technical decision-making capability, with experience managing high-stakes projects from ideation to productization
- Exceptional collaborative and communication skills, able to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, research) and influence key stakeholders
- Demonstrated strategic mindset, combined with excellent problem-solving skills, enabling proactive identification and mitigation of cybersecurity risks and opportunities
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex security concepts and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
