This is a 6-month Day Rate Contract Role (Inside IR35).
We are seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Developer for an initial 6 month contract assignment (highly likely to extend).
The ideal candidate will be a part of a large Customer digital experience programme of projects which has been running since January 2024 with most development happing in the past 6 months
The role can be carried out in hybrid working model of 2⁄3 days per week on site either in Warrington or York and the rest remote.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Enabling transition from Project to Product Management.
- Embedding disciplined code promotion process
- Improving code quality
- Improving observability of app
- Advise around best practices to follow regarding development.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience of JavaScript, typescript, next.js and node.js
- Experience of Git flow development approach
- Experience of developing for:
- Azure Function Apps
- Cosmos DB
- Service Bus
- Azure API management
- Static Web Apps.
- Experience of Git Hub Enterprise Managed Users
- Experience of developing apps for hosting in Azure
- Experience working in Scrum teams
- Event Driven architectures
- Good standard of markdown documentation.
