Senior Dynamics 365 Solutions Analyst

About the Job:
A determined, motivated, adaptable, self-managed and eager to learn solutions manager, with experience in financial processes and the Dynamics 365 F&O platform. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in the midst of change, and adapt to the growing needs of the Finance and Fashion operations teams, and to help drive a programme of change to enhance financial and operational efficiency as part of a dedicated team of D365 specialists.
What You’ll Do:
- Configuration Management: Handle configuration requests from users, ensuring D365 F&O modules are tailored to meet specific business processes and requirements.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current system capabilities and business needs, proposing actionable solutions to bridge gaps.
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs): Write clear and comprehensive FRDs to document business requirements, functional designs, and proposed solutions.
- Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, pain points, and future goals.
- Solution Design: Design and propose D365 F&O solutions that leverage out-of-the-box functionalities, align with business needs, and integrate with other systems where necessary.
- System Configuration & Customization: Configure D365 F&O modules to meet business requirements, with minimal customization to maintain system scalability and upgradeability.
- Testing Support: Participate in and support testing phases, including unit testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet requirements and function correctly.
- User Training & Support: Provide training to end-users and internal teams on D365 F&O functionalities, offering ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical developers, project managers, and end-users, to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize D365 F&O functionalities, enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and transparency.
About You:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Computer Science).
- Proven experience with 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional certifications a plus.
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Documentation: Skill in creating clear and concise documentation.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new features and adapt to evolving D365 F&O capabilities.
- Module Expertise: In-depth knowledge and configuration experience in specific D365 F&O modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Accounting, Commerce).
- Requirement Analysis: Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Solution Design: Ability to design and configure D365 F&O to meet business needs.
- User Training: Experience in training end-users and providing support.
- Testing: Involvement in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
