Department and project

This position is filled in the Tolling services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals working on electronic roadcharging solutions. Together with our partners, we are developing and operating intelligent electronics, kilometer based tolling solutions for our international customers, including full coverage of business flows (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board-Units, position sending, charge calculation, billing for fleets) . We use digital intelligence for a smart service that connects Europe. Using sophisticated technology and our toll box, we are creating a new age of seamless mobility. Our aims is to further develop the currently available services and extend it to further domains. Together with the T-Systems International team members, you will join an international team supporting our customers by providing tolling solutions.

Main tasks

As a Senior Fullstack-Developer, you will:

  • Working on the software what is supporting the manual process consists of a backend component, an Angular-based web application, and hybrid mobile applications (Cordova) for iOS and Android. A frontend redesign is planned for the future, potentially using Flutter technology.,
  • You like to dig deep into complex challenges and enjoy exploring and implementing innovative solutions.
  • You will contribute to and own the operational responsibilities for the services you develop, embodying a strong DevOps culture.
  • You feel comfortable working in a self-organized, agile, and international environment and are eager to grow both professionally and personally.

Qualifications

Background and required skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
  • 5+ years of experience in Web & App development, in Java with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles or Fullstack development
  • Proficiency in Java
  • Proficiency in Angular
  • Hands-on experience with Springboot
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Familiarity with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
  • Familiar with using Jenkins Pipelines
  • Strong familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, SAFe).
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Team player
