Job description
Does driving growth at one of Canada’s fastest growing startups excite you?
Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to be part of our Marketing department.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The Team:
The Demand Generation team at Jobber is world class. We work together to develop, manage, and optimize integrated campaigns that drive leads for our self-serve and sales-assisted funnels.
As a valued member of the Demand Generation team, you’ll work cross-functionally to generate awareness among home service businesses, convert and monetize existing in-market demand, and help prospects keep Jobber top-of-mind.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, the Senior Performance Marketing Manager will take the lead in driving year-over-year customer growth through performance marketing initiatives. This role supports multiple teams across Jobber, leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategy and decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to gain a holistic view of the department, while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
With extensive experience in performance marketing, you’ll play a key role in helping Jobber connect with home service professionals—delivering the right message at the right moment to boost brand visibility and expand market share. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply both analytical rigor and creative thinking to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth, making a direct impact on Jobber’s success.
The Senior Performance Marketing Manager will:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing strategies—including paid and organic channels—to drive customer acquisition, meet growth targets, and support the specific goals of cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop and manage strategic plans and budgets for various marketing channels, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize performance and impact
- Analyze customer behaviour and channel performance data to generate insights, develop testing hypotheses, and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and accelerate revenue growth
- Forecast and monitor key performance metrics with a strong emphasis on cost-effectiveness and return on investment
- Oversee multiple concurrent campaigns and optimization efforts across platforms, ensuring all projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with broader business objectives
- Collaborate closely with teams across Jobber—including Business Analytics, Sales, Lifecycle, and Product Marketing—to deliver integrated, results-driven initiatives
- Provide regular updates, share performance insights, and communicate strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and the wider marketing team to guide ongoing planning and execution
To be successful, you should have:
- An entrepreneurial outlook, plenty of motivation, and a passion for helping small businesses
- Hands-on experience in paid search and SEO, with an emphasis on SaaS customer acquisition
- Expertise in ad platforms such as Meta, Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Deep Google Tag Manager knowledge
- A proven track record of directly and effectively managing a $10M+ performance marketing budget and being responsible for revenue targets
- Experience nurturing a consistent testing process and culture
- Ability to extract and action meaningful insights from analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau, Data Studio, Google Analytics, Power BI, Looker)
- Proven ability to translate business objectives into acquisition strategies with meaningful KPIs
- Flexible and responsive - ability to prioritize multiple tasks as needed and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate proactively
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize, work independently, and learn quickly
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for using data to tell compelling stories to senior leadership
It would be nice (but not a deal-breaker) if you had:
- Experience working at a high growth company
- Bachelors in business, communications, or equivalent experience
Compensation:

This role has a minimum annual salary of $121,000, a midpoint of $142,200, and a maximum salary of $163,600, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development.
We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process!
What you can expect from Jobber:
- A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, retirement savings plan matching, and stock options.
- A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential.
- Support for all your breaks: from vacation to rest and recharge, your birthday off to celebrate, health days to support your physical and mental health, and parental leave top-ups to support your growing family.
- A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player…yet.
- To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.
We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
