We started Paired in 2019 to help couples strengthen their relationships with a mobile app. Our app offers daily questions, games, quizzes, and relationship advice from licensed experts, therapists, and academics. It gives couples a space to explore their relationship, communicate, and grow, especially those committed to maintaining healthy communication. The app delivers content through short, daily check-ins.

We also offer physical products like the “Date Night Unlocked” card game to encourage offline connection. We report over 12 million downloads, more than 250,000 daily active users, and have raised over £5M. The app has been recognized as the #1 couples app globally. Apple named us an Editor’s Choice in 2024 and App of the Day in 2023, 2024, and 2025. We also won a Google Play Award for Personal Growth in 2020, and BBC News and The Times have featured us. We use technologies like Braze for CRM and Shopify for our e-commerce.

Our mission is to help couples stay in love and make their relationships happier and healthier by providing tools and support. We believe in using technology to positively impact romantic relationships. Our core values guide how we work:

We operate with a fully remote team of 11-50 employees. We hire for remote roles in the UK, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, and the Netherlands. To build collaboration and team cohesion, our entire team gathers three times a year across Europe for coworking weeks and a team-building retreat.

Our employees receive competitive salaries, with ranges like £80,000-£85,000 or £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience and country, along with stock options. We provide 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays.

We allocate a yearly learning budget of £1,000 (or equivalent in €/DKK) for personal and professional growth. We support families with 3 months of paid maternity leave and 1 month of paid paternity leave, including for same-sex and adoptive parents, with local enhancements where applicable.
