Job Details

  • Type: Full-time (Remote)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (EU time zone)
  • Seniority Level: Senior
  • Team Structure: 20-30 members, including Product Managers, Product Designers, Analysts, Developers, and QAs.
  • Contract Type: Permanent contractor contract
  • Start Date: December / Early January

Responsibilities

  • Design Impactful Products: Understand the business context, user needs, and data to make informed design decisions that balance user value with business goals.
  • Own the Design Process: Lead all stages of design, from concept to final delivery, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Startup Mindset: Embrace a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to build and refine features that deliver measurable results for users and the business.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define requirements, conduct product discovery, and ensure design feasibility.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and testing (in English) to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Prototype & Iterate: Rapidly prototype, test, and refine designs to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Design Systems: Create and maintain scalable design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve design processes and share best practices to elevate team capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

We need a Senior Product Designer who:

✅ Excels in balancing user experience with business objectives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

✅ Has a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, impactful UI improvements, and measurable outcomes.

✅ Is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a startup setting where every contribution matters.

✅ Can lead user research efforts, synthesize findings, and translate them into actionable design solutions.

✅ Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and aligns stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in product design for tech startups, preferably in high-pressure or bootstrapped environments.
  • Proven ability to create user-centered and visually engaging designs.
  • Familiarity with agile development and collaborating with squads/cross-functional remote teams.
  • Strong expertise in UI design, including improving usability and aesthetics.
  • Hands-on experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct user research and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience creating or maintaining design systems.

  • Knowledge of tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar analytics platforms.
