Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee technical aspects of data and analytics projects, including architecture design, data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics implementation.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop project plans and roadmaps.
- Define & design data solutions, scalable, robust, and efficient, that meet business needs and adhere to best practices and industry standards.
- Manage project resources, including technical teams and third-party vendors, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Coordinate with data engineers, data scientist, data architects and analytics experts to ensure seamless integration and deployment of data solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data management and analytics practices, tools, and technologies.
- Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of data platforms and systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement data governance and security measures
- Support with the generation of Commercial approaches
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in technical project leadership roles, with a focus on data management and analytics projects.
- +5 years’ experience as Business Analyst
- +2 years’ experience AI Solutions
- +3 years’ experience in SQL
- +5 years experience in Software Development Life Cycle
- +5 years experience in Data
- Deep understanding of database technologies, including relational databases and NoSQL databases
- Experience and technical knowledge with public clouds such as Azure, AWS
- Experience in the multilateral sector, development banking or international organizations is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Being involve in cloud migration projects and being familiar with new architecture approaches such as Fabric and Mesh
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic vision and multicultural work environment previous experience.
- Knowledge of BI analytics tools, such as Power BI
- Fluent in English and Spanish
