About the Role:
Join Gett’s Billing team, a tight-knit group of 7 engineers behind one of the company’s core platforms. You’ll design, build, and scale critical billing systems that serve B2B, B2C, drivers, and fleets.
You’ll work closely with architects, own the full development lifecycle, and contribute to a high-performance, stable, and scalable infrastructure using Ruby on Rails and Go.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end development from design to production
- Built robust, scalable backend solutions with RoR and Go
- Ensure system reliability in production with a dedicated support team
- Improve code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Collaborate with architects and DevOps on system architecture and deployment
Required Competence and Skills:
- 6+ years of backend development experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB)
- Proven experience building SaaS or microservices-based systems
- Skilled in writing clean, testable RESTful APIs
- Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/others)
- Performance tuning and optimization for high-load environments
Nice to have:
- Experience developing in Golang.
- Experience in optimizing performance in relational databases.
- Experience with gRPC/protobuf.
- Experience solving high-load problems;
- Experience with concurrent applications
