Senior Technical Product Manager - Microsoft
Location: NYC Hybrid or Remote; Remote in Redmond, WA area a plus

BlueVoyant is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager with background in managed services who specializes in the Microsoft Security ecosystem to join a rapidly expanding product management team and global sales team dedicated to delivering world-class Managed Detection and Response.
In this position, you’ll be expected to guide the development of our software and services to ensure technical alignment with Microsoft’s current and planned capabilities. This role requires experience in managed services and information security. You will use client and prospect input, market research, product management discipline, and experience to define plans and requirements in an agile environment to enable highly competitive offerings in the market. You will also work closely with the Microsoft Alliance, engineering, deployment services, security operations, and user experience teams.
Responsibilities
- Evolve the BlueVoyant product by developing requirements with a team of product managers and subject matter experts
- Lead the evaluation and lab testing of emerging Microsoft capabilities, incubate Microsoft Preview/Public Preview features & participate in Microsoft design sessions
- Collaborate with user experience and design, engineering, other product managers, and security operations teams to prioritize features on related development activities
- Document and train internal staff on net new Microsoft features, initiatives, and programs
- Develop a deep understanding of our users, buyers, and their needs
- Engage with Microsoft sellers, clients and prospects to determine common problems our solutions can solve, including additional services not offered today
- Conduct competitive analysis and use this information to establish meaningful market differentiators
Requirements
- Five or more years as a Product Manager, or equivalent experience, specifically working with agile development
- Three or more years of experience with information security
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex problems reaching a wide variety of perspectives represented by different internal stakeholders, including cross-functional leadership
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional and cross-company teams to deliver products and projects on tight timelines
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the proven ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable items and/or recommendations
- Exceptional analytical skills, fact-based, transparent and experience building business cases and outcomes
- Deep-level technical understanding of security services and how they may be delivered
Preferred certifications:
- SC-100, SC-200 or other Microsoft certifications
- CompTIA Security+, ISC2 certifications or similar
