As an SDE II/III - Backend, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure services while leveraging modern technologies like Java, Spring Boot, RDS, Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ, and Redis/Memcached.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Optimize and maintain relational databases (RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Work with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS) to deploy and maintain applications
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs, including integrations with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)
  • Build internal tools and automation scripts using Python and JavaScript
  • Interest or experience in prompt engineering for generative AI systems (like OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) is a plus
  • Troubleshoot issues across services and deployments in production environments
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code best practices
  • Ensure high code quality through test automation and peer reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical planning and architecture

Required Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
  • Solid grasp of databases (SQL/NoSQL), API security, and performance optimization.
  • Strong experience working with AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and modern software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Good working knowledge of Python and Javascript is a plus
