Job Description
This position is within the Strategy & PMM & Analytics Team and will be part of a team of 3. The Strategy Associate will be working alongside a Product Evangelist, will be attached to the Head of Strategy & PMM and will work hand-in-hand with teams from all departments.
This is an opportunity to be one of the main members of JobTeaser’s core strategy & implementation team. You will help answer JobTeaser’s most important and ambiguous strategic questions, including assessing major new product extensions, international expansion, the evolution of JobTeaser’s business and monetization model, as well as implementing transformative or high-impact initiatives.
What does this mean on a daily basis?
Strategy
Work with the Head of Strategy & PMM and the Head of Strategy & PMM & Analytics (your N+1 and your N+2, both former tier-1 strategy consulting managers) to define JobTeaser’s corporate strategy; Report directly to the Head of Strategy & PMM or to a certain C-Level executive (e.g., CEO, COO) depending on the project
Fully manage strategy projects internally: market analysis, customer calls, expert calls, competitor analysis, market modeling
Analyze JobTeaser’s competitive environment and identify new business opportunities
Conduct strategy analysis regarding Job Teaser’s geographical expansion opportunities
Collect qualitative and quantitative data from internal stakeholders (e.g., data, marketing, etc.)
Break down unstructured problems and synthesize many disparate sources of information to deliver simple and thoughtful answers
Present your recommendations and debate their implications with JobTeaser’s executive team
Implementation
Enable salespeople success (through training, support etc.) to sell effectively, ensuring scalable growth
Craft and deliver compelling pitches to maximize product adoption
Gather and translate customer insights into actionable product enhancements
Collaborate with internal teams (product, sales, marketing, tech teams etc.) to drive strategy and execution
Lead specific diversification projects and manage teams to kickstart, coordinate and support the launch and operations
Fully manage 3-9 months long strategic projects internally, from inception, to planning, to execution, to day to day progress and to final rollout when it becomes “business as usual”
Make sure all stakeholders are aligned on strategic projects and report on advancement and performance
Qualifications
Who are you? 🎯
You have 2-4 years of experience in a top tier strategy consulting firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey, L.E.K., Roland Berger, AT Kearney, etc.)
You have strong analytical problem solving skills and ability to identify and synthesize insights from data
You have strong communication skills in French and English, including the ability to use verbal and written communication to express ideas clearly and succinctly
You have strong business judgment, with ability to think across every dimension of the business
You have experience with quantitative and qualitative consumer, corporate and market research techniques
You are able to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership
You are curious and have a willingness to learn from a wide range of people
You have exceptional project management skills, can drive consensus, and move things forward efficiently
You are passionate about the tech industry and have an entrepreneurial spirit
How to stand out from the crowd (bonus, not mandatory):
You already have an experience in a tech start-up
You speak a third language fluently, German is a BIG plus!
