Summary
PaxeraHealth Corp. is hiring a Technical Support Engineer for a remote position. The candidate should have solid IT and customer service skills, 3 years of experience in healthcare IT Technical Support, and a BA/BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, computer science or related discipline.
Requirements
- Ability to solve complex problems related to PACS software implementation, upgrades and compatibility/bug issues
- Knowledge in Healthcare imaging Standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE)
- Ability to prioritize and delegate urgent quality tasks in order to meet business requirements and deadlines
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment to present strategic planning on time
- Strong relationship-development skills, which result in long-term, mutually beneficial vendor and client relationships
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a healthcare IT Technical Support role including the development, analysis, and implementation of PACS and medical IT software
- Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to understand and express complex issues and solutions
- BA/BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, computer science or related discipline
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers and distributors receive adequate level of support, to include technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone, remote and other electronic medium
- Assist with medical imaging software and hardware implementations for new customers
- Manage product setup as well as provide product presentations to customers and visitors
- Develops, refines, and tunes integrations between applications
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues
- Ensures software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc
