The Impact of a Solution Advisor at Coupa Software:

A Solutions Consultant at Coupa Software provides technical expertise and strategic advice throughout the sales process, delivering compelling demonstrations of how Coupa’s solutions drive measurable business value, support the development of sales collateral, maintain knowledge of Coupa’s spend management applications, and provide valuable sales insights and solution expertise to account executives and colleagues.

What you will do:

  • Provide technical expertise, competitive differentiation, and strategic advice throughout the sales process.
  • Combine solution configuration, visual aids, and persuasive storytelling to deliver compelling demonstrations of how Coupa’s solutions will drive measurable business value and ensure customer success.
  • Support the development of RFP responses and other sales collateral such as presentations, documents, and videos.
  • Learn and maintain current knowledge of how to configure and use Coupa’s unified suite of spend management applications.
  • Be a subject matter expert who can provide valuable sales insights and/or solution expertise to account executives, solutions consulting colleagues, and others.

What you will bring to Coupa:

  • 5+ years experience supporting the sales or implementation of enterprise Software as a Service for business functions such as financial accounting, customer management, or sales automation.
  • Experience with one Business Spend Management application or solution is desirable including eProcurement, eSourcing, Invoice Automation, Contract Management, Expense Management, Payment Automation, or Treasury Management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including slide design (PPT or Google Docs) and persuasive storytelling.
  • Previous consulting experience with any of the following applications is a solid predictor of success: Oracle, NetSuite, Intacct, Workday, Ariba.
