Job Description

πŸš€ The Job Mission

This is a hybrid role, with three days a week based at our Bristol (Aztec West) office. We can only consider candidates living within a commutable distance, though limited relocation support may be available.

You’ll take the lead on fire detection systems within a major nuclear project, ensuring supplier performance, design compliance, and technical integrity from design to delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical queries between suppliers and the client
  • Support the contract lead through design and procurement stages
  • Follow equipment manufacture, testing, and on-site delivery
  • Review supplier technical documents and surveillance reports
  • Manage risks, opportunities, and design change requests
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces for fire detection systems
  • Β Validate and track modifications using dedicated tools

Qualifications

πŸ›  Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of fire detection and protection standards
  • Experience in instrumentation equipment design or procurement
  • Strong background in technical document review and supplier follow-up
  • Familiarity with UK/EU electrical standards
  • Experience in heavy industries such as nuclear, power, or oil & gas
