Job Description
About the Role
This role is all about bringing the Refash brand to life visually across Malaysia and Singapore. You’ll be creating eye-catching designs for everything from social media posts and online ads to in-store posters and signage. Your work will directly help us connect with customers and make our brand stand out in both markets.
What You Will Do
- Create engaging digital marketing assets for social media, ads, and email campaigns targeting Malaysia and Singapore.
- Design impactful in-store visuals like posters and signage to support store events and promotions.
- Adapt and resize creative assets efficiently for various digital platforms and print formats.
- Perform basic photo editing and retouching to enhance product and marketing visuals.
- Ensure all designs strictly adhere to Refash brand guidelines, maintaining visual consistency across both markets.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Lead and marketing teams to refine designs and meet campaign deadlines.
- Explore AI tools to assist with initial concept generation and basic research for design projects.
What You Will Need
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a solid grasp of layout and typography principles.
- Proven ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual identity across different markets.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to incorporate feedback to improve designs.
- Experience working with fashion, retail, or e-commerce brands would be a plus.
- Familiarity with motion graphics or basic video editing is beneficial.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline simple design tasks and gather inspiration, while ensuring final creative output is manually executed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field
- Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines - Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in e-commerce or fashion retail
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills
- Familiar with social media formats, web graphics, and print specifications
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with regional teams
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar graphic design role (experience in fashion retail or e-commerce is a plus)
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply — a strong portfolio will be highly valued
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools, such as Adobe Firefly and MidJourney, and exhibit strong curiosity and initiative in experimenting with and adopting generative AI tools in the creative process
Additional Information
- Internship or freelance experience in e-commerce or fashion retail
- Basic motion graphics or video editing skills (After Effects or similar tools)
- Basic understanding of AI tools
- Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days office / 2 days home
- Working Hour - 10am - 6pm | Monday to Friday
