Job Description
DT Technik team is good at task planning and resource coordination, providing fast response, clear and professional information that explains the essence of technical matters. We are willing to help solve problems, we have pleasant and friendly atmosphere at work.
Purpose:
We are seeking a talented and highly experienced Phyton Developer to join our dynamic team in Kosice .
Our tools are used in projects such as MBfD or FTTH self-build, as well as in the processes for providing individual customer connections or outdoor collocation. Our tool portfolio ranges from front-end assistants, add-ins, back-end assistants to workflow systems and is operated by us on virtual machines.
Other tasks include the creation of individual unit tests and E2E system tests, which are then kept up-to-date.
Transfer of libraries to a separate, globally usable repository.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
- Create new endpoints in already existing application using standard Python programming language as well as additional modules like requests, json etc.
- Write tests using pytest framework to cover each line of code
- Develop additional functionalities within our Mercury plugin and our geo-server for geo-based planning
- Maintain application’s code in GitLab CI/CD
- Check your code contribution on frontend side
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
Must-have skills:
- Have strong experience with Python 3 including working with API requests
- Be familiar with Object Oriented Programming concepts
- Have hands-on experience with modern web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, Node.js, Vue.js, Nuxt, Pug (Jade), and Webpack
- Have experience with PyQGIS and geodata processing
- Are familiar with tools and platforms such as Jira and GitLab
(Not all skills are required at the same time.)
Database skills (desired):
- Have experience with PL/SQL (Oracle), PostgreSQL, or MariaDB
Language skills:
Speak English at an upper-intermediate level (B2)
German language is an advantage

Salary
Final salary negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000€ /brutto.
