Job Description
As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on a new cloud-native project focused on data enrichment for marketing analysis. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills across modern technologies while contributing to meaningful, real-world solutions. Reporting into Lead Software Engineer you’ll be part of a collaborative team building a React-based frontend, a Python backend, and using AWS cloud services.
Our applications empower businesses to make smarter, data-driven decisions in the marketing and retail space. We help clients understand their customers by profiling demographics, manage sales territories by analyzing proximity to retail locations, and plan market growth by identifying locations for new stores, quantifying market potential, and benchmarking against competitors.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the new development using React, Python, and AWS.
- Help maintain the existing applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product owner, and other cross teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Grow in a supportive environment with hands-on experience.
- Participate in our Scrum process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Around 1 year of professional experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience with Python
- Basic knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, familiarity with React
- Knowledge of fundamentals in OOP and APIs
- Excellent written and verbal English.
