Job description

As a Web Design Engineer, you will focus on converting design concepts into responsive, pixel-perfect HTML and CSS implementations. This role bridges the gap between design and development—ensuring layouts, graphics, and interactive elements created in Figma and Adobe tools translate seamlessly into high-quality, production-ready front-end code for all types of generated assets including slides, brochures etc. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and optimize AI-generated outputs while ensuring brand compliance, accessibility, and technical performance.

Our client is an AI engine for life sciences marketing teams that accelerates the creation, evaluation, and distribution of personalized content. They allow pharmaceutical brand teams to rapidly deploy compliant content at-scale.

Due to their continued success, they are looking to expand their team in the Philippines and seeking a passionate, skillful, self-motivated, and collaborative Web Design Engineer join their dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Convert Figma and Adobe Creative Suite designs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS.

•Review, edit, and refine AI-generated layouts and design outputs, ensuring accuracy, usability, and visual consistency.

•Make front-end changes across HTML, CSS, and PDF files, including typography, spacing, imagery, and overall page structure.

•Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to optimize UI/UX for brand compliance, performance, and user experience.

•Adjust and optimize layouts, graphics, and interactive elements to ensure a consistent visual hierarchy and high-quality delivery across devices and browsers.

•Provide structured feedback to AI models, shaping prompts, curating examples, and evaluating visual outputs to improve generative performance.

•Capture user and client feedback to continuously enhance the company’s platform’s design-to-code workflows.

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

•1–2 years of front-end development or design engineering experience.

•Expert proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a strong ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations.

•Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) for interpreting and refining designs.

•Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility best practices (WCAG/ARIA).

•Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, front-end development, or related field.

•Strong eye for detail in layout, typography, and visual consistency.

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide and receive feedback effectively.

Nice-to-have / Advantageous Skills:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Science, Engineering or related

•Familiarity with content types used across the pharma lifecycle: launch materials, MOA visuals, disease education, mechanism messaging, sales aids, etc.

•Understanding of healthcare marketing compliance and how design adjustments impact regulatory approval processes.

•Experience working in the Life Sciences industry is highly preferred.
