We are seeking a part-time Scrum Master to help drive Agile excellence across our robotics software development team. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams working on advanced automation technologies for the logistics and automotive sectors. Success in this position means enabling teams to deliver high-quality, iterative outcomes by fostering collaboration, removing blockers, and continuously improving Agile practices. As part of our growing engineering organization, you will play a key role in maintaining alignment and momentum across projects that integrate software, hardware, and robotics systems.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Guide and support software teams in adopting and continuously improving Agile practices
- Collaborate with Engineering Leads and Project Managers to ensure effective sprint execution and cross-functional coordination
- Identify and help remove obstacles that may hinder team progress
- Maintain and refine workflows in Jira (or equivalent), ensuring process transparency and alignment
- Support hybrid Agile/waterfall coordination between software, hardware, and integration teams
- Monitor Agile metrics and team dashboards to track progress and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical or engineering-focused environment
Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology
Proficiency with Jira and related tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., software, robotics, integration)
Ability to work as a registered freelancer/contractor in the Netherlands or EU
Availability of 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
Preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I or higher)
Background in software development, robotics, automation, or embedded systems
Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Miro, or ClickUp
Experience working in hybrid Agile environments or matrix organizations
Work Environment
- This is a hybrid position with flexibility for remote work
- Occasional on-site collaboration in the Eindhoven area may be requested based on team needs.
