Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Squad Data RUN – Data Entreprise, dedicated to ensuring the achievement of business objectives and the effective management of daily operations, including incident resolution and necessary evolutions. This role is pivotal in supporting the transformation of our Data product and requires a strong technical background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and data transformations tools (ETL/ELT).
Our team focuses on developing and maintaining internal corporate tools utilizing a robust technical stack that includes the BPCE SI cloud ecosystem, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Linux, Python, Power BI, Composer, and SSIS. We employ various methods and tools to enhance our workflow, including Jira and Confluence for project management, Clarity for resource planning, PowerDesigner and DataGalaxy for data modeling, and Dataplex for data management. Our testing processes are supported by Jira Xray, and we adhere to the Agile framework within the BPCE Tempo ecosystem to ensure efficient and adaptive project delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Integrate into the Performance and Run team, collaborating closely with BPCE-SI business units to guarantee the stability of existing systems.
- Manage incidents effectively, ensuring minimal impact on operations while implementing necessary system evolutions.
- Develop specific components in the context of construction projects, contributing to the overall enhancement of our data capabilities.
- Employ Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery and Composer, to optimize data management and analysis.
- Utilize Power BI for reporting and visualization, alongside data integration tools such as SSIS to ensure seamless data flow.
- Work under the supervision of a squad lead to ensure optimal coordination and successful project execution.
- Engage in proactive communication with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Qualifications
Hard Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a strong understanding of data management and integration practices.
- Expertise in Power BI and data integration tools such as SSIS.
- Knowledge of programming languages, particularly Python and SQL, for data analysis and manipulation.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in daily stand-ups and iterative development practices.
- French proficiency is mandatory (B2 level, minimum).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business units.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and prioritize user requirements effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills for effective incident management and minimizing operational impact.
- Proactive communication with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
