Role Overview:

As an Associate Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects, oversee virtual teams, and drive operational excellence to ensure successful project delivery. You will lead independent contractors (ICs), monitor quality, track performance, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for highly organized, proactive candidates who thrive in remote, fast-paced environments and enjoy taking initiative to optimize workflows and provide strategic insights across multiple projects.

Your Impact

  • Lead virtual teams across multiple projects to achieve quality, throughput, and performance targets.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by proactively identifying areas for improvement and delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze project and performance data to inform operational decisions and optimize workflows.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, team coordination, and cross-project alignment.
  • Maintain timely reporting, status updates, and insights for managers and clients to support decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Maintain and optimize operational workflows, documentation, and tracking systems across multiple projects.
  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively propose actionable solutions to improve team productivity and project outcomes.
  • Assist in scaling operations as the team grows, recommending improvements that enhance cross-project coordination.

Team Performance Tracking & Operational Projects

  • Track team and project performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Support operational projects that improve cross-functional coordination and efficiency.
  • Take initiative to suggest process enhancements and performance optimizations across projects.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Provide regular status reports and in-depth project analysis across multiple initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Extract, organize, and communicate insights to drive operational and client-focused improvements.

Virtual Team Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a virtual team of ICs, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources for all projects.
  • Provide guidance, real-time feedback, and training to ICs to drive efficiency, quality, and cross-project performance.
  • Prepare and distribute project materials based on client and IC feedback, clarifying expectations.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to project guidelines across multiple projects.

Quality Management

  • Execute day-to-day quality processes for all assigned programs and projects.
  • Provide on-the-spot feedback to ICs on metrics, behaviors, and performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze statistical reports to identify trends and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure delivery of required performance metrics and client satisfaction across projects.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, adapting to evolving needs and expectations.
  • Monitor and drive IC performance to meet project and client requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, ICs, and management to ensure seamless execution of multiple projects.

Must-Haves (Required)

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, virtual team leadership, or operations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and remote teams or independent contractors.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret project and performance data.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, remote environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

  • Experience in digital project management, search evaluation, social media, or ecommerce projects.
  • Familiarity with business analysis, KPI tracking, and data extraction.
  • Experience with workflow optimization or project management software (Asana, Trello).
  • Previous exposure to client relationship management or content moderation projects.

Remote Work: Fully remote—work from anywhere

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM EST
